Sandakphu (3636 m; 11,930 ft) is highest point of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park.

Day 1

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station in the morning, drive towards Dhotrey which is about 90km drive (5hrs approx.). This village serves as the gateway to the Sandakphu, and it lies at an altitude of around 6400 ft above sea level. Stay overnight at the pre-arranged accommodation in Dhotrey.
Day 2
After breakfast, proceed towards Tonglu/Tumling (10km / 6hrs approx.), via Chittrey & Meghma. The trek is moderate with flat sections & some steep ascents. The trail constitutes rocky paths, some muddy sections & meadows. Stay overnight in Tonglu/Tumling.
Day 3
Wake up early to view the sight of sun rays falling on the Kangchenjunga. Then, we will proceed for Kalapokhri (12km / 6hrs approx.) through Singalila National Park entry point. Kalipokhri translates to the Black lake and is exactly on the Nepal India border. There is a small Buddha temple near the lake. Stay overnight in Kalapokhri.
Day 4
Today we proceed for Sandakphu top (6km / 4hrs approx.) early morning, from where you get a 180 degree panoramic view including 4 of the highest mountains in the world; Mt Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Chomolhari, Pandim. Stay overnight in Sandakphu.
Day 5
Today’s Trek from Sandakphu to Phalut is moderate but long covering 21 km in approximately 8 hours. Today’s trek is a treat for the eyes as the scenery is one of the best. As you walk on this trail, witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the region. Stay in Phalut.
Day 6
Trek from Phalut to Gorkhey (13km / 5hrs) is easy today with mostly a descending trail. Today’s trek is a treat for the eyes as the scenery is one of the best. Click pictures of the amazing view of the surrounding environs. Stay in Gorkhey.
Day 7
We start early from Gokhey and walking through Sammamden and Rammam villages, we will reach Bhareng/Sepi at by afternoon, where trek ends. From there we proceed onwards journey towards Siliguri which will take 5 hrs approx.

Except monsoon, it is open round the year.

This trek is highly recommended for beginner.
3 Where will we pick you up?
New Jalpaiguri Station / Siliguri Bus Stand. However, transportation cost is not included in the package and to be paid extra.
4 How to Reach?

By Air :- Kolkata & Bagdogra are two nearby Airports. Whereas, Bagdogra is nearby but pricer than Kolkata, which has regular flights from all major cities.

By Train:- Rail network connects New Jalpaiguri station to Kolkata.

By Bus:- There are many regular bus services from Kolkata to Silliguri, from Kolkata Esplanede
